Notes/History
Rae El is literally a speed Demon. Despite his appearance and bulk dark magic give him the means to travel at exceptional speed in the mortal realm. This he uses to take mortal souls at the moment of death before they can travel to the spirit realm.
As well as being an annoyance to the Gatekeeper and Angels as well as his own brethren, they cannot stop him as the literally cannot catch him. Though he prefers to steal souls he, like most demons will make deals and in those cases Rae El uses less elaborate schemes by simply imparting dark magic on mortals that will sign a contract.
