CLEA’s Magic Wielder designation covers individuals who through skills and study have become masters of the occult. Very often such individuals specialise in specific types of magic or fields so whilst some might be experts in Dark Magic others might be skilled in Light Magic. Very few are powerful in all forms of magic.
Though they are able to use magic as a weapon or a tool, Magic Wielders often rely on magic artefacts that act as a form of focussing their abilities to perform special tasks. They are also skills with using Magic Totems and the distinction between a Wielder and a Totem Bearer is that Magic Wielders can use Totems but Totem Bearers are not as skilled at wielding any magic other than that which the Totem provides.
