Species Beta

CLEA’s Species Beta designation refers to any animal or plant that has been mutated by Bacteria Z. The difference between a Species Beta and Species Beta hybrid is the latter has some human DNA infused in the genetic make up. Also though some Species Beta may walk upright and be biped if they lack human DNA they are not considered eligible for the hybrid classification

Most Species Beta plants and animals inhabit Terror Island and its surrounding oceans. Though some are classed as “criminals” this is down to the filing system label which groups them in with “problem” individuals and groups. Often dangerous Species Beta are merely acting out of instinct and classing them as true criminals would be similar to classing a wild animal as a criminal if it attacks someone.
