Notes/History

Despite access to many law enforcement databases CLEA knows very little about William Ramer, the person known as “Dice Man”. Whilst vigilante’s tend to appear on CLEA’s databases due them being powered humans such as Alphas or Cyborgs etc. or those with limited respect for the law, the Dice Man is none of these.

However, he ended up getting CLEA’s attention after appearing several times in high profile international investigations. These all pointed to the fact he was an operative for a government intelligence agency and presumably a very good one because he managed to survive encounters unscathed with some very powerful criminals.

Currently he is believed to have “retired” from that line of work and his records indicate his occupation was a teacher. That information is considered to have been falsified, as a security precaution by whichever agency he worked for.

Whatever his past life, since coming to Atlantica he has set up a part time “business” of helping people in the sort of trouble the police have no time or interest in dealing with. As the Dice Man he compares himself to loaded dice, “Rolling the odds in your favour.” Taking on a variety of street criminals and the types that are able to dodge justice, the Dice Man clearly has kept his intelligence agent skills in tip top condition for he has been able to operate with impunity without the police ever linking him to the trail of beaten up individuals he has left in his wake.

Clearly a man of principles who operates on the fringes of the law but not afraid to tackle powerful individuals if they threaten his “clients”.

Though generally a loner William is known to employ the services of Michaela “Mickie” Gaines, also believed to have worked for the same agency as Ramer.
